Our Story: Built on Hard Work and a Legacy of Trust
In 1984, Don Armock started Armock Mechanical Contractors with one old truck and a vision. Working out of his garage, he was driven by a lifelong passion for mechanics and a commitment to quality. A natural at fixing things since he was a teenager on his family’s farm, Don earned his HVAC degree in 1970 and spent years perfecting his craft before starting his own company.
From these humble beginnings, Don built a business on the principles of hard work, integrity, and exceptional service. He laid the foundation for a company that would not only succeed but also become a trusted partner for businesses across West Michigan.
In 2004, Don passed the torch to his son, Greg Armock. With the help of dedicated family members and an incredible team, Greg has proudly carried on his father’s legacy. Today, Armock Mechanical has grown into a strong, multi-faceted company with four specialized departments, a team of over 90 talented professionals, and 50 trucks on the road daily.
The same values Don held so dear continue to guide us. We are proud of our journey from a one-man operation to an industry leader, all while staying true to our roots and honoring the legacy of our founder.
