Job Description:

The Byproducts room was served by an air handler with an ammonia coil to provide cooling to the food grade space. The owner requested eliminating the unit from the Ammonia system to provide capacity elsewhere in the plant. To maintain the food grade application an Aaon unit with double wall stainless steel construction, dehumidification, and power exhaust was chosen to replace the air handler. The existing ductwork was also replaced with stainless steel and wrapped with insulation to meet code.
